Rick and Anna had been married for over 30 years, with 7 wonderful kids, when the unthinkable happened! The family, including four teenage boys, were celebrating Craig Dean's completion of Marine boot camp when Rick unexpectingly died in his sleep.
Rick has had many health challenges over the years which has made it a challenge for him to properly provide for his wife and children. Anna, wanting the best for her family, has been working several jobs as well as caring for her children and her husband for a long time now. Even with Rick's social security and Anna working two to three jobs at a time, things have been very tight for the Dean family! They had been delaying gratificaiton, with many bills and repairs starting to pile up, while Rick was trying to get better.
Anna Dean is one of the most caring, hard working and selfless people we know and she has now lost the love of her life. I can't imagine the pain, dispair and stress that she is going to have to face over the next several months.
Rick Dean was a great man of character who loved his family and would like nothing more than to know that they are loved and taken care of as he looks down from heaven!
We will be doing a LIFE on LIFE event in the near future to help fix up Anna's home and vehicle and to make sure that this very difficult next year will be secure and hopefully without outside stress and worry as she deals with her brokenness!
We are also on a quest to raise a significant amount of money to help with funeral costs, home repair and security as she gets her and her family back on their feet! All Grace Outreach, a non-profit charity, has agreed to match whatever the Band of Brothers and Rick's friends and family can raise by Friday, 1/27 up to $12,000.00! This would be a MIRACLE for the Dean family, and is something that we know is the right thing to do! Trust me, Anna would do the same for you and your family, even if she did not know you personally!
We ask that you please give what you can from the heart and know that you are helping out an amazing family and building treasure in heaven!
