<div>I have been a longtime family friend of the Damrau’s; graduated with their son Jason and daughter Kayla (my best/oldest friend). I know Rick nor Stacey would ever ask for anything from anyone. I feel this is the time to come together as the close community that we are and show our love and support!

<div>‭Rick is and always has been the protector of his family. The man in the storm. The man of‬ MANY stories, jokes, and help when anyone needed it.‬

<div>As many of you know, Rick owns a solo run electrical business A.J Rick Electric. This business‬ is what has provided for his family for years past.

<div>Unfortunately, for the near future Rick will not‬ be able to bring in any income from his business. Rick was recently diagnosed with Acute‬ Myeloid Leukemia and will begin intensive chemotherapy treatments with the optimistic hope‬ that he will receive a bone marrow transplant in the foreseeable future. This road is long and‬ tough and their family will need support from friends, family, and the community.‬

<div>This news follows his wife Stacey’s ongoing battle with oral cancer that was diagnosed in 2021.‬

<div>Unfortunately, Stacey has had to endure repeated surgeries and infections which impact her‬ daily life. Despite all this, they also raise their oldest grandaughter, Kylie.‬ As we learn more each day, we know Rick’s road to remission and recovery will be long with‬ many potential and unforeseen hurdles and needs. We are asking for donations to mitigate‬ some of the financial strain this will pose to him and his family in the coming days, weeks, and‬ even years. The most important thing to us all is this will provide comfort to a man whose sole‬ purpose has been to protect and provide for his family.‬
