We are totally devastated. Early yesterday morning dad was rushed to the hospital. He had collapsed and had abdominal pain. The ct scan showed that one of his aneurysms was bleeding- he'd had 2 that were too small to be operated on and had remained the same size for years. They transported him to another hospital that was equipped for emergency surgery, but his heart stopped before they could get him in the ER.
We are in shock and sad beyond words. If you knew dad, you know that he had the biggest heart and loved to be a total goofball. He loved his family so much and made sure every single one of us knew it. He will be missed by so many, but especially by us.
We love you, dad. I can't believe you are gone.
