Hello, this is my father Richard Nicpon. This is his recovery.

On January 27th 2023 my father was diagnosed with the severest kind of Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

After 258 consecutive days in medical/ rehab facilities, he is finally home. My family has made so many modifications to their home including tearing up all carpet, purchasing necessary medical equiptment including shower chair, motorized recliner chair, and an electric hoyer lift.

Because of your help so far we have been able to build ramps and make other modifications.

Next on the list is a vehicle that will allow for my father to drive his wheelchair into.
After pursuing more cost effective routes of transportation..they have all failed. They have all been too difficult to transfer my father in and out of the vehicle. A standard wheel chair and vehicle are no longer appropriate or safe for him to leave the house to attend his doctor appointments and Physical Therapy.  My parents are in the process of selling both of their vehicles and taking out a loan and it still is not enough for a safe vehicle for my father.

If you are able to donate anything at all, please consider donating to help my dad get a wheel chair accessible vehicle.

With the deepest love and appreciation, the Nicpon family.
