It's been more than a decade, but Richmond is back at London's prestigious New Year's Day Parade.

We are a group of volunteers working together to showcase the very best of Richmond at this year's parade. We want to celebrate Richmond's love of life as we march through central London.

Every year, each London borough has the opportunity to enter a parade group. We want to bring the best dancers, musicians, performers and even some animal friends, from across the borough we love - Richmond.

But we need your support.

We are all volunteers and need funds to cover transport for those taking part on the day and to ensure access so that a wide cross section of our borough can take part.

Every penny we raise will go towards the costs of logistics to make Richmond's parade entry an absolute triumph. We are raising money for the following:

- Coaches to get participants to and from the parade
- Costumes for our brilliant volunteer dancers
- Insurance to keep our parade group safe

Any money we raise in addition to this will be donated to the Mayor's official charities.
