Richmond Police Department K9 Fundraiser

Did you ever meet one of our local community heroes, Leo? For 7 years, Leo was a K9 officer in Richmond, Indiana. In January 2019, Leo retired to enjoy some much-deserved relaxation and rest for a job well done in our community. We are forever thankful for his years of service to protect our community. With his retirement, there is a new open pawsition on the Richmond Police Department force. As a proud community sponsor, Wayne Bank is helping the Richmond Police Department raise funds to help purchase and train the newest K9 member to the force. Can you help us?

Our new K9 officer will help with narcotics detection, inspection of vehicles, tracking missing individuals, apprehension, and help to deter aggression in criminal interactions. With your donations, we can help the Richmond community secure K9 coverage on all three shifts. Every dollar you can donate makes a difference - there is no amount that is too small! Best of all? 100% of the proceeds collected go toward purchasing and training the new K9.

Thank you again for making a donation to help protect our community. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Sarah Featherston at Wayne Bank at 765-259-0208 or
