It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that I share this GoFundMe after the passing of Richard (Richie) Mayambo - a beloved friend, family member, and soul who brought joy to many during his life. While his struggles were not always visible to those around him, it doesn’t change the fact that he was deeply loved by so many.

Richie was the kind of person whose spirit touched those who knew him, even if he hadn’t been in contact for some time. He had a heart full of potential, a smile that lit up a room, and a personality that left a big impression.

Life sometimes leads us down difficult paths, and though Richie isolated himself in recent years from many, we all want to remember the good times, the laughter, and the love he shared with those around him. He will never be forgotten, and the impact of his life will always remain with those who knew him. I am confident he is now at peace.

This loss has left a void in the hearts of many, one that words cannot fully capture. As his family comes to terms with this heartbreak, they are now faced with the financial burden of expenses related to his death. Richie would have wanted to be laid to rest with his beloved Mother, in their homeland of Zambia. We want to ensure that Richie is given a respectful farewell and that his family has the resources to heal from this painful loss. No donation is too small.
