Richelle's medical needs

Richelle was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease on July 4, 2014. Crohn's is an inflammatory Bowel Disease that can effect anywhere in your digestive tract. Her immune system decided to start attacking her small intestine (terminal ileum), trying to rid her body of it, causing intense pain, inflammation, nausea, vomiting, bloating, dehydration, weight loss, and other deadly complications, including multiple bowel obstructions, strictures and scar tissue build up.
After taking many different medications, and none controlling the problems, she was admitted once again in April of 2017 and underwent surgery to remove the infected small intestine. At that time, she was also given a loop ileostomy which she wears on her stomach.
Doctors were hopeful that these surgeries, along with weekly medication infusions via IV, would rid Richelle of any active disease in her bowel. After 8 months, a scope was performed in December 2017 and her Crohn's is now in remission for the time being, but there is no cure for Crohn's Disease at this time. Richelle has not worked since March of 2017 and has been hospitalized monthly for multiple complications due to the ostomy placement.
She will undergo another surgery on January 18 at OHSU to have the ostomy reversed and she and her husband Nick are hopeful for a successful surgery and 6 week recovery so she can get back to work in March. She is currently on unemployment but that benefit will end this month.
In the meantime, they are in danger of losing everything if they cannot pay monthly bills on top of all the hospital bills for the next 2-3 months while she recovers and is unable to work.
