RichellaMae Funiestas

On Saturday, December 21st, RichellaMae “Chella” Funiestas was tragically shot and taken to the hospital. She remained non-responsive and gained her heavenly angel wings on Monday, December 23rd. Chella’s decision to be an organ donor has been honored and she was ultimately reunited with her Grandma Lorna on December 25th, Christmas Day. We find comfort in knowing she has blessed others with the gift of life. The events that unfolded that dreadful evening are still unclear and undergoing investigation but our focus now remains in honoring Chella and embracing all the love and support from everyone to our families. 

We appreciate the overflowing amount of love and support from all of you and we humbly ask for your continued prayers. Many have been asking how to help, so we’ve created this account to raise funds for these unforeseen medical bills and upcoming funeral arrangements. Funeral announcement information will be updated here once established. 

We know that Chella is now resting in heaven, reunited with her Grandma Lorna, and watching over us all. Her infectious laugh will forever be ringing in our memories and she would want all of you to remember her for the joyful, always smiling, laughing, fun-loving Chella that we all knew and loved so much.
