Richard Mark Doney's Cancer Fight

In May of 2015 Richard was diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancer. A tumour was found inside his stomach. He withstood 9 weeks of chemotherapy treatment  pre-op and in November 2015 he had his stomach and spleen removed. Post-op he had to undergo another 9 weeks of treatment. He was declared cancer free. 

Unfortunately, we have recently found out the same cancer has returned. Two masses have been found, one on the liver and another between the liver and kidney. It has metastisized. Currently, the Cancer Clinic is planning on doing weekly chemotherapy and administering an antigen at the Jubliee Hospital in Victoria. The hope is to beat these masses back to a maintainable level and prevent any growth. 

As one can imagine this is a very stressful situation for us and the entire family. Richard has been financially strapped this last two years since he cannot work and my income barely covers most of our needs. He had cut down on his work load quite an amount even before diagnosis thus a huge loss of income. His treatment is covered but there are so many other costs that it is quite overwhleming. And as this progesses, we have no idea what we are facing. We are also seeking alternate methods of treatment which are not covered under any medical program and are quite costly. We are desprate to use whatever resouces we have to fight. 

Richard Mark Doney is a kind, loving man and a gentle soul. He is a grandfather of two and father of two. Cancer isn't fair to anyone but it always seems to affect those it is least fair to. We have fought hard this last two years but now we need your support. Any amount will help.
