Richards final fight with Alzheimers

My Dad was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s in 2007 at the age of 53. He fought a long and hard battle with this debilitating disease which causes mental and physical impairments. For all of those who knew my Dad, they knew him as a fighter. He showed resilience in the face of adversity and the slow and steady loss of independence. Despite all of the Earthly limitations, he always showed positivity, optimism and love for his family. 

Richard passed as he would have liked, peacefully in his home with his loved ones surrounding him, singing, telling stories and rejoicing in all of the memories we were able to share together. 

We decided to open up this gofundme as an opportunity for any of those who desired to contribute. 

These tough times have highlighted even more so than ever the lives he has touched and the legacy that lives on in each and every one of us. We try to find solace that he is at peace and he has finally found rest.
