Richard Ku Memorial Fund

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Ku, who went to be with the Lord on January 9th, 2017.   This was an unexpected loss for his family and friends. 

Richard was a loving husband of 7 years to Cindy, father to Eric who is 4, and host Dad to Rainie (  齊檬檬) their family's foreign exchange student.

There are not enough words to express Richard's love of his family.  They are most of what he liked to talk about - and then of course his love for the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs.  Richard had a wonderful dry sense of humor and loved to joke around with friends and co-workers.  Richard was a believer in Christ and attended Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran here in San Antonio.

Richard had been fighting a good fight with his health.  His kidneys were not functioning at full throttle, so he had been frequently going to dialysis treatments but with hopes to get better or find a kidney donor. 

We are calling on friends and well wishers to support the family in raising funds to cover the costs the family has incurred for medical bills and will incur for funeral arrangements.  The family's needs are immediate due to the sudden nature of this unexpected loss.
