I am a Viet Nam-era veteran.
Several years ago I moved to Atlanta full of hope for a promising future. I never imagined I would have such difficulty finding work, or that the future would include trying to raise money on www.gofundme.com/richard-nx9gto.
It took four years of job-hunting, but ultimately I landed a job in the electronics department at a local department store!
Unfortunately my joy was short lived. I began to be plagued by multiple foot infections and then bone dislocations. No longer able to walk, I was terminated, and jhad been unable to find employment. I recently secured a position with a staffing company.
I am currently wheelchair bound, and time is of the essence. Major reconstructive surgery will put me back on my feet, however I am financially drained and cannot afford the copay costs of the operation or the post surgery and living expenses since I will be out of work for a minimum of four months and will have to resign my position. According to my podiatrist, if I wait much longer for the surgery I will lose my leg.
I long to perform the menial tasks I foolishly used to complain about-cooking on the grill, mowing the lawn, and yes, even taking out the garbage.
I realize that there are many worthwhile causes and so many people in need, but I sincerely hope you will consider making a contribution. Any amount will be deeply appreciated!
