Richard was more than my father in law. He was my friend and one of the finest men I've ever known.

As all of you that knew him can attest Richard lived a selfless life, always available to all of those that counted on him daily. He worked his whole life as a truck driver starting at the age of 18, and provided for his extensive family up until the day of his passing.

Richard's death was very sudden and unexpected, he dedicated his life to his kids and family always putting the needs of others before his own, and now it's our turn to take care of him.

Kathi, his daughter, had several talks about his last wishes and he made it known he wanted to be placed with his Son, Chad, who passed away in 2004.

We were quoted a very reasonable price for his burial and headstone and his affairs were somewhat in order so please do not donate more than you feel comfortable with. Richard would not have wanted that.

We are hoping for $3,000 to cover the expenses and put together a fitting memorial when his friends and family can attend. If we have any money left over it will be donated in Richards honor to a charity that the family will agree on.

Thank you everybody in advance for your contribution, Richard's mama, "Granny" is anxious to have Richard in his final resting place so that she can begin the healing process.
