Richard “Max” Albright, an RN at Hospital for Special Surgery for 16 years, left his Jackson Heights home for a walk almost 4 years ago. On Sept 29, 2025 his remains were discovered by a survey crew working in a fenced field near 20th Ave in College Point, Queens. While the NYPD is still investigating, it appears Max was robbed and murdered. The entire situation has been horrible but the knowledge that such a kind, sweet person died like this is devastating for his family and friends.

We are asking for any assistance you may be able to provide for his burial and memorial costs. Potential legal fees and other unforeseen costs will be extremely difficult for his widow Cathy who is on a fixed income. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
