Rich Warns

On March 4th, 1959, our parents, Jack and Dolly Warns, brought their fifth child into the world. Our Dad forgot his belt and his pants kept falling down. Our Mom laughed all the way to the hospital and was sure that is why our brother, Rich, had such a great sense of humor.
Rich was a wonderful husband to Kathy, devoted Dad to Andy and Kelly, a great brother and friend to many. He was hard working, a gifted artist and the funniest guy around.
A few years ago he suffered a massive heart attack. A stranger who knew what to do witnessed it and was able to save his life. Rich worked hard to recover and was doing well. Sadly, he had a second unexpected heart attack on May 12th, 2017 and did not survive. He will be deeply missed.
We, his siblings, are creating this page in an effort to help his family with the sudden, unexpected funeral and medical expenses. Although is difficult for Kathy to ask for help, we reminded her of three things. 1) People care and will be generous given the chance. 2) She would be the first to help if someone else needed it. 3) When she is able to, she can pay it forward.
We ask that you send messages of encouragement and stories of loss and healing to the family during this difficult time. And please share this page with others.
