Rich Land medical expenses ( Mrs. Land husband)

On July 9, 2020, Rich Land (Mrs. Land's husband) went to the ER with shortness of breath and confusion.    He was diagnosed with severe pneumonia, and within a day went into respiratory failure.  He was admitted to the ICU and had to be put on a ventilator for 7 days.  He also received a feeding tube.  He seemed to get better and was scheduled to go to a rehabilitation center for physical therapy.  Before his release, he again went into respiratory failure and had to be ventilated a second time.  This time he had a tracheostomy placed (creating an opening in the neck in order to place a tube into a person's windpipe to allow passage of air).   


On July 29th, Rich was moved to a rehabilitation center in The Villages.  They discovered a significant bedsore which kept him in bed with severe pain and unable to do the appropriate physical therapy.   Because of insurance, Rich has been home since November 28th despite doctors advocating for him to stay in the hospital/rehabilitation setting.  Rich still cannot stand.  He lost his job in August which means their only income is through Mrs. Land.
