Rice family needs our help

If you have ever met Adam, you know he is energetic, funny, and a very genuine person.  You will also know how dedicated he is to his wife Pam and their 2 daughters.  Adam has worked for UPS for 25 years and has developed many wonderful relationships through his work.  Adam also is very passionate about his favorite DC comic character “Batman”, and has volunteered for community events dressed as the Caped Crusader.  On Thursday September 6, 2018 Adam suffered a stroke caused by an enormous blood clot on the right side of his brain. He was then transported by ambulance to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.  Adam lost consciousness on Thursday and has been in a medically induced coma since then.  Over the weekend Adam suffered complications from the stroke and underwent a Craniotomy to relieve the pressure on his brain.  In addition Adam is also battling Pneumonia.  Adam will remain in ICU for several weeks for now until he can be transferred to a certified stroke rehabilitation center.  During this trying time the Rice family will need our help financially and spiritually.  Adam is a family man first and a dedicated UPSER second.  Obviously he will not be able to work for months, maybe years, while recovering.  Right now Pam is staying in Pittsburgh with Adam, and money is running out very quickly due to both of them not working.  The Rice family will need help with expenses from traveling, time off from work, as well as day to day life expenses.   This is a life changing event.  Adam and Pam are so strong, but we shouldn’t let them go through this alone.  Please help the Rice family anyway you can.
