Hello all,
As some of you may know I have gotten the opportunity of a life time to attend New York University! I so sincerely want to thank anyone who has helped me in this process or has ever given me words of encouragement about my talents. Not one of those gestures were a waste and really helped keep my spirits through this whole process. This year has been a difficult one, and getting in to NYU gives me a great sense of hope for the future and in myself that I cannot measure up in words.
Though upon my acceptance their are enrollment fees that have put this exciting opportunity out of my reach. Now that I am so close, I am asking for you all to give me the jump start I need to make my dreams come true. The $5000 would be going towards enrollment fees to secure my seat in the university, room and board, as well as books, warm clothes ,and anything else that would make my transition to New York a smooth one. I have jokingly said that this is all I'm wanting for Christmas this year, but it would definitely be lifting a burden off me and my family this holiday season and into the New Year. Any gift is appreciated, and thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone who has imparted words of encouragement and love to me over the year as I could not have had the courage to step out and try!
I would like to meet my goal of $5000 by December 25 to meet my deadline of when I must solidify my acceptance. Thank you for giving, every dollar counts and every kind word builds me up!
My major will be in studio art, and in light of that here is some of my work that got me accepted into NYU's competitive program:
