Rhys Daughter Sophie Cancer Treatment

2020 was a hard and dark for so many, but a week before Christmas my best friend Rhys' family had their young daughter Sophie rushed to the emergency room, after days of tests they found she had cancer - an Ewing’s Sarcoma in one of her lungs. She's now started chemo and there is a long road ahead for her and her family.
If you came here through the DPG or Dice and Pixels facebook pages you'll know Rhys as Puck, the owner and man behind Dutch Potato Gaming and co host of the Dice and Pixels podcast alongside me. Rhys is one of the most warm and kind people I know, and anyone who has met him and his family will agree they're genuine, good people. Hopefully if you're reading this you already know them.
They have only just started to recover from loss of a job and a huge financial hit at the very start of the year which has left them with very little and the possibility they will now lose their home, so this campaign is to raise any money we can to go toward their medical expenses, parking, reduced working hours so they can be with Soph and to help them as it all adds up very quickly. I've set the goal to $5000 just to put a number in there but honestly, less or more anything we can raise to help them get through the next year would be amazing.
I know Rhys would never set this up himself as they're a family who like to weather through the hard stuff on their own, but we love them as part of our extended family - so if you're able please donate even if its just a tiny bit as everything will help.
They have set up a gathermycrew page as well if anyone is able to help out in a more practical fashion as well.
