Stand by Stephanie

In 2012, after experiencing her 2nd Grand mal seizure, my beautiful friend Stephanie was diagnosed with left temporal lobe epilepsy. Since her diagnosis, Stephanie has tried various seizure medications with no success. Instead, she continues to have partial and focul seizures that are beginning to damage her memory, cognition, and language.

Due to the severity of her condition, doctors have decided that Stephanie is a good candidate for temporal lobe resection surgery. In order to make sure that she can safely have this brain surgery she must first travel to the Mayo Clinic for 10 days.
