Update and Greetings friends and concerned supporters!

My name is Rhonda Towns and I recently had major back surgery (L4-L5 fusion). The surgery has had a major, unexpected and a negative impact on my life. I thought I would have been able to do most of what I could do before the surgery at least by week 3, but oh boy I was wrong!! This was my first major surgery. The discharge instructions to rest I took as "suggestions". No, No, I was sadly mistaken. My mind told me I needed to work because my bills have not stopped. I've always been a hard worker, working multiple jobs. It's difficult for Type A personalities to totally rest; however, I'm learning my body is ruling my mind and now I realize and learning that Rest is important for healing. Nevertheless expenses have not stopped. I am in need of financial assistance in meeting my monthly obligations. The type of surgery I had was major requiring physical therapy, doctors’ visits, medication and other medical attention (equipment). Needless to say, I have not been able to work. Recovery has not been swift. I have not been able to work for several weeks and have had a relapse in my recovery due to my attempt to try to hasten my recovery and I tried to get back to work sooner than physically able.
