Rhonda Gary Dodge Medical Fund

Sometimes in life, bad things just happen to good people.  So it is with Rhonda Dodge, a valued employee in our organization at Dunavant and an even greater person.
 
For those of you that are unaware, Rhonda has been undergoing treatment for months from a recurrence of cancer that she had a few years ago.  She has been working with the best at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston and a noted local oncologist in Mobile.  Prescribed a variety of treatments, she has gone through several rounds of chemotherapy, injections and dietary changes in order to combat the disease.  Despite many painful and tiring side effects of the treatments she remains as optimistic and upbeat as ever.  She is amazing! It is a true testament to her strong faith in God and being surrounded by a loving, supporting family that she has been able to do remarkably well during this trying time.  She has even continued to work as her strength permits and time allows.

Rhonda and family have incurred many expenses that are not covered by medical insurance or other means.  Multiple trips from Mobile to Houston for treatment, expenses for hotels food and gas, and Gary's time off from work in order to care for Rhonda have added up and will continue to do so.  In an effort to offset some of these costs, we are giving the opportunity for others to contribute to the welfare of Rhonda and family.  We have set up a Go Fund Me page in her name.
