Rhonda's Road to Recovery

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about and contribute to Rhonda’s Road to Recovery.
Rhonda Fundytus is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, gardener extraordinaire, antique collector, lover of fresh mountain air, and so much more. Anyone who is blessed enough to know her would not hesitate to describe her as a caring, compassionate, funny, and selfless woman - a “cool” mom, not a “regular” mom—a total “glamma.”
In August 2018, Rhonda was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which has spread to multiple organs in her abdomen. Due to the advanced nature of her cancer and the limited treatment options being offered by her local health care team, Rhonda is pursuing out-of-country immunotherapy.
As time is of the essence, her family is asking you to consider supporting them in this time of need. All money raised will go towards three weeks of immunotherapy and associated travel costs for her and her husband, Lorne, as immunotherapy is not covered under Canada’s health care system. Additionally, your support will contribute to the costs of in-home care and allow some freedom from continuing work obligations.
If you cannot contribute financially, we kindly ask that you take a moment to offer love, hope, positive thoughts and, if you are of a faith, a prayer, and join us in envisioning a happy and healthy future for Rhonda and her loved ones.
