The Front Steps Project

Erin Marie Photography has been trying to figure out the best way to make our family, friends, and clients feel safe and secure. The phrase, "We're all in this together” keeps being said over and over again, and while we are in it together, the only way to stop the spread of this awful virus is to be physically separated from one another. This is why Erin Marie Photography decided to join Needham photographer Cara Soulia, who started “The Front Steps Project”. This project is meant to help bring people together despite being isolated, by sharing the faces of those in our community who are doing their best to thrive during this tough time. But the message here is simple, while we might not see our family and friends as much as we would like during this quarantine, we are all here, wishing life would go back to normal. But in the meantime, this project is a great opportunity to help those in our community who need it most, all while delivering some amazing photographs to families.

We are offering a 20 minute "Front Step Portraits” for families, couples, singles, roommates, and pets, of course! Before your session you are asked to donate to the GoFundMe page, which all the proceeds from that page will be donated to United Way of Mass Bay COVID-19 Family Fund. Your donation will help families stay afloat during these uncertain times. Once you have made your donation you will receive an email package from Erin Marie Photography outlining your shoot. After your session, your photographer will email you the digital file(s), chosen by us, for you to share and print as you wish. We will also be sharing via social media with the hashtag #thefrontstepsproject and we encourage you to do the same and to also share this project with family and friends! A few important things to note:

The shoot will happen in a responsible and safe way for everyone. We will contact clients once we arrive and meet them in front of their home. Images will be taken outside ONLY and from at least 6-10 feet away.
The session will be brief, likely 20 minutes or less, and will happen regardless of weather.
What to wear? We recommend anything that you and your family are comfortable in like. Even PJ's and slippers are ok if you're getting through these days like we are! Or feel free to let your kids have some fun and pick out their outfits, whether or not they mismatched, weather appropriate, or a silly costume pulled from the playroom. And if you are a health care worker or someone on the front lines, we encourage you to pose in your scrubs or work uniform because we all want to know who you are so that we can thank you!
