For the Future of My Education
Hello, and thank you for donating to my cause. As many know, finding funding for college can prove to be extremely difficult and for some, it seems impossible. I hate the word impossible, because I feel that if I work hard enough and look in the right places, I can achieve anything. The same goes for college. Growing up in perhaps not the best situation or home, although certainly not the worst, means that getting a good education is more difficult due to my family's financial standing. Some of the choices made by my parents have also made obtaining finances somewhat taxing. Despite not having a good lot in life, I'm certain that if I work hard enough, I can improve my lifestyle, because I think it's something I deserve to have. In order to pursue happiness, I'll need a strong education, and I believe that I can receive that education here at the University of Montana.
I'm already here at the school, attending some classes. However, there is a cost, and that is the registration bill required for me to pay. The total amount of my registration bill is a little bit more than $5,000. Of course, this is completely out of my price range. I've been looking for as many options as I can find to pay this bill. I applied for a defferment payment plan, that allows me to pay over the course of 4 months. If I don't pay it, my classes will be cancelled, and I'll be forced to move out of the dorm I've already settled in. Within 24 hours of arriving in Missoula, I'd applied for several local jobs, and I recently heard back from one, and I begin working this week. The second payment is $907, but it is due October 1st, only about 10 days after the first payment. The second and third payments are due Nov. 1st, and Dec. 1st, both at $907.
As as you can see, this is quite the financial predicament I have, and I'm scared out of my wits that I'll be forced to have my classes cancelled. I also have to pay another bill, the exact same at the start of the next semester, by which time I'll hopefully have a better grip on my finances.
Anything would really help, and as much as I would like to earn all of the money myself because I do believe that effort pays off, time is an issue, and I cannot raise that much money on my own in the time that I have. Again, thank you for your donation to my cause, even if it was just your time.
