<div>Located in Knoxville, TN Sacred Ground Hospice House is the only residential hospice from Nashville, TN to Asheville, NC. On Christmas Day, one of the two buildings had a water pipe burst. Water covered the floors, and filled the cabinets and drawers. Rural Metro Fire responded and shut the water off to that building. A couple of hours later, in the patient building the alarms started sounding and a sprinkler pipe burst and began flooding the foyer. Rural Metro responded and turned off the water to the sprinkler system. An army showed up with shop vacs, fans and towels and worked until 10 pm to get all of the water up. Thankfully, the water had only impacted the left wing. Monday morning, ServPro showed up with dehumidifiers and began to work on everything that needed to be done. Monday afternoon around 4 pm, we had another pipe burst on the right wing which had previously not been impacted. Hallsdale Powell had to come out and find the water turn off at the meter to turn off all the water to the building. Patients were relocated out of Sacred Ground Hospice House. In 48 hours, both of our buildings sustained significant water damage.

<div>Thankfully, we do have insurance! However, there are still several expenses that insurance won't cover. This is where we're asking for your help to bridge the gap. We had a waiting list of patients before this incident and want to work quickly to get the building repaired and opened again!
