More information about Cat Watch Rescue Shelter: Cat Watch Rescue Shelter provides a much loved and valued service for the community, helping stray and abandoned cats, getting them to the vets for any health issues to be rectified and finding them furever homes. As well as running a trap, neuter, return programme for feral and community cats. CWRS offers free guidance and advice for all cat related queries.

CWRS has been helping cats and kittens in need for over 5 years now and is completely self funding, run by a committed group of volunteers who do everything in their own time, on top of having days job. Not only do we help stray/abandoned/injured fur babies but we also take on cats who's owners cannot keep them for various reasons. Some of these cats require expensive medical treatment that we receive no funding for.

Unlike a number of large national animal charities who pay hundreds of thousands of pounds a year in staff wages, CWRS is volunteer run and so every penny donated goes back to helping as many furries as we can.

Our volunteers go out to help at various locations in all weathers, including reuniting lost cats with their owners and on a number of occasions have slept overnight in vehicles to rescue fur babies.

Unfortunately we have reached breaking point with regards to funding and have had to close our doors to those who most need our help. Can you help, every donation matters, no matter the size, it is all appreciated.
