Reynolds Shepherd Needs Cancer Care

Dear Family and Friends,

We will close this fundraiser because thanks to you and others who donated offline we were able to meet our goal. Our dad is extremely grateful. His words are below.

Today is day 5 of being home trying to implement all of the healing practices that I was taught while away. Truly nothing that I did was without deep gratitude for the sacrifice of time, money or prayers that you have given me. You see, before my daughters suggested that I go this route to fund my health care, I was going to put myself in deep debt but…well, you rescued me. So how does one say thank you for such a grand gesture. First of all let me say thank you and that my heart is full. I wish I were a wordsmith or great orator with deep, meaningful words at my disposal,but I’m not. So suffice to say I am truly humbled by your act of love and kindness and I will never forget what you have done for me.

You know us as Lena and Ayanna and we are Reynolds (Shep) Shepherd's oldest children. You may have heard that our dad is fighting cancer. We have opened this fundraiser to collect money for his treatment.

Dad has never been comfortable asking for help, but we know that there are so many of you who have benefitted from his generosity of time, talent, and spirit and who we hope would find joy in giving back.

Please pray for him and consider giving as you are able. He is hoping to start treatment as soon as possible. Thank you for your generosity, and for being a part of Dad's community.
