Rewarding a Guardian Angel

I am a horse enthusiast, endurance rider, veterinarian, wife, daughter, farm owner etc who was able to fulfill an awesome dream of spending some time in Florida this winter with friends and a few of my horses.

I was driving back home on Easter weekend with 3 horses, my beloved 11 year old Aussie and 3 weeks worth of dirty laundry when a stranger chased me down and forced me to pull over on the side of I75.

He was a very nice man in his 20's, dressed up in suit pants and button down shirt on the way home from a wedding with his wife.  As he was exiting the interstate he looked over and saw that the right front rotor of my truck was glowing.  He knew that if he didn't do anything that something horrible was going to happen.

So he did something.  Not many people do.  Most would have kept driving and thought 'I hope she gets pulled over before she loses that tire going 70 mph on a busy interstate hauling a fully loaded horse trailer'.  But he took the time to get back on the interstate, chase me down, put the fire out that started once I stopped and made sure I was ok.

And he didn't stop there.  He brought his father back to pick up my horses and trailer, he found me a hotel that accepts dog, he made sure my truck was towed to a reputable, honest mechanic, he followed up with the mechanic to make sure they understood the situation, he has fed/watered and cleaned stalls for my horses and he has checked in with me by text often to make sure I didn't need anything else.

He didn't need to do anything.  But he has done it all.  And he hasn't asked for anything in return.  He and his wife and their baby are currently living in a nice travel trailer on his parents' property.  They both have full time jobs and are working on saving money for a house.  I want to help him out.  I believe that he is wonderful human being who deserves to be helped as he has helped me.

I'm not Oprah or Bill Gates.  I can't buy him and his wife their dream house.  But I'm hoping with the help of a few of my friends, collectively we can offer him a bit of 'thanks' to make his life easier.  Any amount you could provide would be awesome.  Thanks for reading and I'm excited to go on this journey with all of you.
