About Us...
Revive Suffolk CIC is the not-for-profit arm of Jubilee Farm, located near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, it is run by Mike, Lizi and Sarah. We operate on 16 acres of regenerative farmland, focusing on restoring soil health, biodiversity, and promoting sustainable food systems.
We practice organic farming, agroforestry, and use agroecological methods, growing fresh produce, including fruit and vegetables which are available for local people. We also rear sheep and pigs for meat products and have a small flock of layings hens.
Our mission at Revive Suffolk CIC is to work in partnership with Jubilee Farm as we engage the community through educational initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and events, fostering a deeper connection between the land, people and their food.
Currently we have 2 projects ongoing at Jubilee Farm - Soil to Supper and Natures Larder. Both these projects invite people onto the land for workshops, skill sharing, eating together and delighting in the beauty of creation at Jubilee Farm. And it's these projects we need your help and support with!
Through our work, the goal is to promote food sovereignty, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. Reviving souls and soils with Jesus-centred values at the heart of all we do.
Why We Need Your Help...
Did you know currently 75% of food grown in Suffolk never returns to the county? We believe we need to make food local again, create more land-based opportunity and move away from our dependancy on large supermarket chains. This is the future we want to create for our children, making the farm to fork journey known and teaching the skills needed to grow, cook and nurture a love of great food.
The reality is farming is a significant financial undertaking, and many farms either operate on large loans or have been passed down through generations as family inheritances. At Jubilee Farm and Revive Suffolk CIC this is not our story and that's why we need your help to help make dreams a reality.
As a community interest company we have been lucky enough to recieve grant support to start up food based projects on the land and now we're seeking to raise further finances to support the ongoing work of Revive CIC at Jubilee Farm.
The truth is projects like ours rely on the support of customers and like-minded individuals who are committed to championing a better, more sustainable way to grow and produce food. Your contribution, however big or small will help make this vision a reality.
How much do we need to help build Revive Suffolk CIC?
Our intial target is £5000. This money will be used to purchase specific equipment for our initial two projects - Soil to Supper and Natures Larder as well as pay towards paying a project leader one day a week.
