Revive "Life as a Lobster"

Hey Kids!
This is an opportunity to order discounted, Signed copies of my kid's book!
I'm using this platform to aggregate a bulk order and to raise funds for a second release to book stores and libraries.
I published Life as a Lobster in 2006 while living in Los Angeles, and it was a smashing success among my friends, family and select groups of school children across America...
Now my publisher wants to  bring the Lobster back to Life!
While donations are appreciated, this is an invitation to purchase a signed copy of the book for a discounted rate as a bulk order.
The title is listed on Amazon for $12.50 HERE.  I am offering signed copies through this campaign, for only $12!
If you're feeling frisky, and just want to pitch in, that's cool, but for each $12 pledge, you will receive one, signed (by me), laminate print version of my book within 6 weeks of the end of this fundraiser.  (Feel free to go ahead and send me your mailing address, otherwise I will hand-deliver the books).

Life as a Lobster caters to children of all ages, relating to the outcasts and deep-thinkers among us,  to fulfill purpose and direction. Each of the 24 pages is captivatingly illustrated by a different artist, which I crowdsourced from Myspace back in the day.. The blank page at the beginning encourages Readers and Artists to draw their own version of the Lobster, and become a part of the book. Advanced vocabulary and a theme of transformative life lessons engage the mind into progressive thought while stimulating the eyes with various styles of artistic creation.

Now, 13 years after the original release, my publisher is encouraging us to pursue greater distribution of the title, which requires a bit further investment.

For the $2200, we will be able to ensure Returnability of the book, which is crucial insurance for booksellers to feel confident purchasing copies of the book, knowing they can return to the publisher in the event that they do not sell.
With this investment, they will also provide:
-Premium Review Service from the US Review of Books (They will submit the title to a recognized professional reviewer, the US Review of Books. Once the title gets a positive review, it will be credited with a Gold Seal of Literary Excellence to strengthen your book’s marketing campaign. A positive review on the cover from a respected book reviewer such as the US Review of Books is a compelling recommendation and an indication of quality work.)
-Submission to the Eric Hoffer Awards -Booksellers Return Program for 2 years
-The opportunity to have a Gold Seal of Literary Excellence stamped on the cover once we get a positive review.
-An Ad in Ingram’s Advance Print Catalog distributed to international booksellers and libraries
-Publicity Plan – NetSpeak Edition

-- Sounds great, but right now is a bit of a lean time in my life. For the past three years, I have been nearly full-time caretaker of my grandfather, who passed in October and now for my Grandmother in her declining health. With the budget of a Yoga instructor and therapist, I am not able to invest this amount into the book.  SO, Again, I am NOT Looking for handouts nor donations! At all, unless you're just feeling frisky and want to show your support...
What I'm asking is that my friends and family simply pre-purchase a  signed copy (or ten) of the book for $12.00 each.  (It is listed for $12.50 on Amazon!) So I'm actually giving you a 50¢ discount to purchase a signed copy of the book now (rather than wish you had in a few years).

Maybe you have kids, or know someone who acts like one, or perhaps you'd like to share this with your classes, or simply have a copy for a keepsake of your homegirl's funky accomplishments!
Maybe you know someone who just had a baby and want to gift them this treasure,  or you have a friend who's obsessed with lobsters...

IF this campaign is a smashing success and we go over the original goal, there are also tiers of possibilities for further promotional engagements with the publishers and publicists. . . The $9,000 range would ensure full publicity management for the book,  nearly ensuring it's eventual success with press releases, radio interviews and television appearances, even a book tour with me!

So... I thank you deeply from the bottom of the sea for believing in this project and helping me get the ball rolling on this progressive statement piece which will inspire meaningful self awareness and cooperative artistic influence on kids of all ages.

Spoiler alert: Another Alliterative children's book production is already in the works, with my 16 year-old aunt as the illustrator,  so every dollar you give takes us one step closer to the full series...
