<div>Hola, me llamo Rocío y estoy ayudando a recaudar fondos para poder reacondicionar el taller de bicicletas de José Vicent "Pepito", incansable trabajador que a sus 82 no se rinde y quiere reabrirlo. Esta historia es una de tantas en el horror de la catástrofe de la DANA, pero él es una persona tremendamente especial y no debe perder el legado familiar de esta manera.

<div>Ciclos Vicent no es solo un taller, son dos generaciones que aman el ciclismo. Nació en los años 40, con mucho amor y buen hacer, de la mano del padre de Pepito, José Vicent Serrano, que era ciclista y quiso tener un lugar donde reparar, acondicionar y poner a punto su bicicleta y las de la comunidad. En los años 50, ya Pepito se le unió y trabajaron con sus manos, su pasión y mucha amabilidad en hacer crecer el taller con una tienda. En los 60 se instalaron dónde están ahora, Avenida Rambleta Nº45, en el centro de Catarroja y tras el fallecimiento de su fundador, el negocio paso a mano de Pepito.

<div>Hace 17 años la edad de jubilación llegó para Pepito, pero no sus ganas de parar, y decidió continuar y a sus 82 años seguía ofreciendo servicios de reparación a todo el que quisiera entrar por su puerta. ¡Y saliendo a hacer rutas ciclistas los fines de semana! Pero la Dana azotó su localidad y se ha llevado por delante su taller, su modo de vida, sus piezas históricas, sus recortes de periódicos antiguos... Por ello te pedimos ayuda para volver a poner en pie de nuevo este rincón tan especial para su comunidad, para sus amigos, para todos los ciclistas que pasan por allí y los de los alrededores.

<div>Ciclos Vicent isn’t just a workshop; it’s two generations of love for cycling. It began in the 1940s, born from the passion and craftsmanship of Pepito’s father, José Vicent Serrano. As a cyclist, he dreamed of having a place to repair, tune up, and care for his bike and those of his community. By the 1950s, Pepito had joined him, working side by side with his hands, his heart, and an unwavering kindness to grow the workshop into a store. In the 1960s, they moved to their current location at Avenida Rambleta Nº45, right in the heart of Catarroja. After his father’s passing, the business became Pepito’s to carry forward.
