<div>Bonjour/Bonsoir . Je m'appelle Simon Miron McGraw et je suis le fils de Sylvie Miron. J'ai décidé de créer un Gofundme pour ma maman.

<div>le 3 Janvier 2022. Un grave accident est arrivé. J'ai reçu l'appel de mon beau-père en avant-midi. D'un ton très émotif, il me dit que ma maman a eu des convulsions et est tombée au sol. Elle est partie en ambulance. Plusieurs heures sont passées et on a fini par recevoir des nouvelles. 1 anévrysme de chaque côté de son cerveau ont eux une rupture et ont causé un AVC important. Elle est restée longtemps dans le coma. subit une trachéotomie pour l’aider à respirer car elle ne pouvait plus le faire par elle même et on a craint pour sa vie durant ses longues journées en pensant que malheureusement il n’y avait plus d’espoir.

<div>le 27 Janvier. Le respirateur a été enlevé car elle respirait par elle-même et réussissait à ouvrir ses yeux mais malheureusement aucun contact n'a été fait. en Février de grande amélioration sont arrivés. On était capable de lui parler et elle comprenait. Malheureusement parler était difficile dû à toutes les chirurgie au niveau de sa gorge. En Mars son progrès continuait de progresser. Elle était capable de nous parler et avait encore une superbe mémoire tant long terme que court. Elle finit par être transférée dans un autre hôpital. Dû au covid qui courrait énormément les hôpitaux. c’était difficile de pouvoir la visiter mais on a eu espoir qu’elle revienne à la maison après quelques mois. Physiquement. C'est difficile. Elle a fait des progrès au niveau de sa motricité. capable de manger et avalé par elle même des repas plus copieux (le liquide la choquait) et c'est là qu’on a remarqué que son caractère était encore très bien elle hahaha. En août, moi et ma copine avons décidé d'emménager et apporté notre aide dans le sous-sol de mon beau-père puisque ma maman revient à la maison. Février 2023 arrive et maman se porte super bien. Elle pousse avec ses jambes. Elle réussit également à écrire sur un ipad (Surprenant oui!) et fait énormément de progrès en réadaptation. arrivée en 2024 maman va bien. Malheureusement les progrès ont arrêté au centre de réadaptation. (Sont rêves était de pouvoir se tenir sur ses jambes et pouvoir se transférer de sont lit a sa chaise pour aller au toilettes. Les années passent et de beaux moments se sont partagé avec la famille pour noël et le jour de l’an. 2025 arrive. Moi et ma copine trouvons une maison a 20 minute de ma maman se disant que mon beau-père était apte à pouvoir s’occuper de ma maman et nous, d’apporter notre aide au besoin. Neuro-concept fait sont arrivé. (<a href="https://www.neuro-concept.ca/fr/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.neuro-concept.ca/fr/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.neuro-concept.ca/fr/</a></a>) Un centre de réhabilitation spécialisé et privé qui apporte un grand espoir à ma maman. Selon les tests qu’ils ont fait. Il y a de forte chance que ma maman puisse s'améliorer davantage. Malheureusement les coûts sont élevés et notre état financier étant difficile ne l'aide guère à payer pour les visites (Ayant perdu mon emploi de camionneur dû au tarif, j’ai dû changé d’emploi et mon salaire a baissé donc mon budget a dû être réévalué). En ce moment elle fait 1 visite par semaine de 1h. Ses visites se portent super bien et elle refait de nouveau progrès.

<div>Ma maman m'a souvent répété qu’elle aimerait bien voyager au Nouveau-Brunswick pour visiter sa cousine et ma famille du côté de mon papa qui l'aime énormément durant cette année.
</div>
<div>Avant l’accident. Ma maman se préparait à voyager dans le sud avec ma sœur pour réaliser son rêve. Après toute cette histoire, elle m'a demandé si je serais apte a pouvoir l'emmener au Nouveau-Brunswick dans une caravane adaptée qu’on aimerait bien louer. hélas les coûts sont élevés et j’aimerais énormément pouvoir faire de mon mieux pour au moins réaliser un de ses rêves.

<div>Ma maman est une battante. Une femme forte qui a vécu énormément de situation. même malgré tout sa elle réussit à sourire a pleine dent (avec un dentier)(Désolé maman je me trouvais un peu drôle) Elle a porté ma soeur et moi dans son coeur toute sa vie. J’ai eu de dure moment mais je la remercie de m’avoir autant sortie de mes problèmes puisque aujourd’hui je suis fier d’être celui que je suis. Ma maman est la femme la plus importante a mes yeux et j’aimerais énormément pouvoir la voir sourire avec ses petits pieds dans le sable.

<div>Ma famille et moi somme reconnaissant du temps que vous avez apporté à lire notre histoire de ces 3 dernières années. Nous ne sommes normalement pas habitués à demander des dons mais je me suis dit que le stress, les larmes et la colère pourrait bien s'atténuer et laisser place à la joie et le sourire de voir ma maman redevenir heureuse d’un petit plaisir de la vie qui est le sable et la mer devant nous.

<div>January 3, 2022. A serious accident occurred. I received a call from my father-in-law in the morning. In a very emotional tone, he told me that my mother had convulsions and fell to the ground. She left in an ambulance. Several hours passed, and we finally received news. An aneurysm on each side of her brain ruptured and caused a major stroke. She remained in a coma for a long time. She underwent a tracheotomy to help her breathe because she could no longer do it on her own, and we feared for her life during those long days, thinking that unfortunately there was no more hope.

<div>January 27. The ventilator was removed because she was breathing on her own and was able to open her eyes, but unfortunately no contact was made. In February, great improvements came. We were able to talk to her and she understood. Unfortunately, speaking was difficult due to all the surgeries on her throat. In March, her progress continued. She was able to talk to us and still had a superb memory, both long and short term. She ended up being transferred to another hospital. Due to the covid that was running rampant in hospitals, it was difficult to be able to visit her, but we had hope that she would come home after a few months. Physically. It's difficult. She made progress in her motor skills. She was able to eat and swallowed larger meals on her own (liquid shocked her), and that's when we noticed that her character was still very good, hahaha. In August, my girlfriend and I decided to move in and help out in my stepfather's basement since my mom was coming home. February 2023 arrives and mom is doing great. She pushes with her legs. She is also able to write on an iPad (surprising yes!) and is making enormous progress in rehabilitation. Arriving in 2024, mom is doing well. Unfortunately, the progress stopped at the rehabilitation center. (Her dreams were to be able to stand on her legs and transfer from her bed to her chair to go to the bathroom. The year go by and beautiful moments were shared with the family for Christmas and New Year's Day. 2025 arrives. My girlfriend and I found a house 20 minutes from my mom, thinking that my stepfather was able to take care of my mom and we, to provide our help if needed. Neuro-concept arrived. (<a href="https://www.neuro-concept.ca/fr/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.neuro-concept.ca/fr/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.neuro-concept.ca/fr/</a></a>) A specialized and private rehabilitation center that brings great hope to my mom. According to the tests they did. There is a good chance that my mom can improve further. Unfortunately the costs are high and our difficult financial situation does not help her pay for the visits (Having lost my job as a truck driver due to the US tariffs, I had to change jobs and my salary decreased so my budget had to be reevaluated). At the moment she makes 1 visit per week of 1 hour. Neuro-concept says she's doing great and she's making progress again.

<div>My mom often told me that she would love to travel to New Brunswick to visit her cousin and my family on my dad's side, who loves her very much this year.
</div>
<div>Before the accident, my mom was getting ready to travel south by plane with my sister to fulfill her dream. After all this, she asked me if I would be able to take her to New Brunswick in a special-purpose caravan that we'd like to rent. Unfortunately, the costs are high, and I would really like to be able to do my best to at least make one of her dreams come true.
</div>

<div>My mom is a fighter. A strong woman who has been through a lot. Even through it all, she manages to smile broadly (with dentures). (Sorry, Mom, I thought I was a little funny.) She has carried my sister and me in her heart all her life. I've had some tough times, but I thank her for helping me out of my problems, because today I'm proud of who I am. My mom is the most important woman in my eyes, and I would love to see her smile with her little feet in the sand.

<div>My family and I are grateful for the time you took to read our story over the past three years. We don't normally ask for donations, but I thought the stress, tears, and anger might ease and give way to the joy and smiles of seeing my mother once again happy with one of life's small pleasures: the sand and the sea before us.
