Hey everyone!
As most of you know, I'm in my last semester at New York Film Academy, which I'm super thrilled about! As our final project, we are to create our own film, or pilot episode for a web-series, which then gets to be screened at Warner Bros. After three long years in this program, it all comes down to this!
I have chosen to create a pilot for my web-series which is a comedy called, "Set Up”. It is about three close friends who plan a revenge on an ex. However, things take an unexpected turn. The theme for this web-series is to show the value of friendship, and how far friends are willing to go for you.
Now, I cannot do this without your help. As we know, production means money. My budget is $3,500 which will fund the pilot. I plan to have a crew of 12 which I’d like to pay for their hard work as they are the backbone behind it all, post production work (editing, sound, color, etc), permits and insurance for location and equipment, transportation to haul equipment, catering services for cast and crew, plus other miscellaneous expenses. The cast and myself will go unpaid.
Your contribution will mean so much as this is my first ever pilot/short film that I have written and will be starring in. This will be the start of my career and it would mean a lot to me to show your support and come along on this journey to help me succeed. Without your help, and your generous piggy bank I wouldn’t be able to complete this project. Every contribution counts, and anything is highly apprectiated and wholly grateful for!
