Reveille Bridge Veterans Foundation needs your help raising $210,000. We will use this money to complete building three tiny homes for homeless veterans. With these tiny homes, we will be able to transition six homeless veterans from living on the streets to renting apartments or houses. These homes will provide our veterans with a safe, secure, independent living environment.
These homes are designed with wheelchairs in mind. The shower will allow wheelchairs to easily roll in and out of it. The kitchen comes complete with the latest refrigerator/freezer, oven/range, microwave, and other kitchen supplies. The living room space provides a desk for working on a computer. The sofa opens to a bed making it easy for a wheelchair bound person to live easily on the first floor. The large, upper loft provide space for a queen size sleeping area. The small, upper loft provides space for a twin size sleeping area.
For comfort during the Summer and Winter months, each tiny home will have a comfort solution.
The 32sqft porch provides plenty of room for sitting outside during the Spring and Autumn months.
Each veteran participating in our homeless-to-home program will receive training in budgeting, nutrition, meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, personal and spatial hygiene, and more. Graduates of these education programs will receive diplomas proving their skillsets.
