James Jones meeting biological family❤️

Goal: I'm raising money to be able to meet my biological family this May or June in South Carolina.

This wasn't expected or saved for and I want my Wife & Daughter to accompany me on this trip.

I'm stationed in Hawaii and the plane tickets out of here are really expensive. This could possibly be my last full year in the military so this expense wasn't in our short term financial ability.

Background: I was adopted when I was only a few days old and the only information I had was my mothers name on a Baby bracelet from the hospital.

I didn't know where to begin searching so I tried the DNA sites,  AncestryDNA and 23&ME in 2017. Between social media and the DNA sites I messaged over 100 people asking if my mother's name sounded  familiar to them with no luck. I also messaged every woman with my mothers name on Facebook which at first was embarrassing but the urge to find her took over those feelings.

December 2018 I gave up trying to look for this other side of the family as it was emotionally overwhelming to meet so many dead ends. It was also in December 2018, only 3 days after "Giving up" that a 3rd cousin  reached out on the 23&ME DNA site and said "I think my Mom may know your Mom".    Within days I received a picture of my Mom which was something I never thought i'd see in my life.

There are complications to the situation to where I won't be able to see my mom or have contact with her, as the family doesn't know where she is currently but I'm not going to let that stop me connecting with The Grandparents, family, and a brother I never knew I had. My Grandpa has been in touch with me and told me to "Hurry up and come see him before the Devil takes his hand" lol So that's what I'm trying to do. <3
