Reunite the Thies Family

Hello my name is Shawn Whale and to all, my thanks for giving this your time and consideration.
I am a friend to some amazing people, Pat and Gillian Thies, who are going through a visa immigration nightmare that has broken a family across near 5,000 miles, an ocean, and two continents.
Pat, a US Army Veteran and a PA Orthopedic Specialist, was offered a wonderful opportunity to bring the boys and Gillian back to the United Kingdom (UK) where she was raised. The UK National Health Services (NHS) sought out Pat after spending £20,000 and nine months recruiting him, after failing to find a suitable candidate in the UK.
Pat, Gillian, Philip, Benjamin, and Edward have had their family separated by the UK immigration department. Despite the assurances from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that Benjamin, and Edward (both adopted) would be allowed entry in country, they were instead separated, detained, had their passports confiscated and issued tickets to leave the country in three day after landing in the UK back in March 2017.
Since then, even after hiring a solicitor (lawyer) and an immigration specialist, applying and paying for Worker Dependent visas, reapplying for further visas under the European Convention on Human Rights the Thies family has been ripped apart by red-tape and a severe lack of compassion.
Pat, Benjamin, and Edward have had to leave back for the U.S. to pray that the bureaucracy will accept another new filing of visas. In the meantime, Gillian and Philip, have been working hard to build awareness, support, and the beginning of a new loving home, for all of the Thies family once this nightmare is concluded.
Gillian and Phillip are needed back in the United States at what will hopefully be a wonderful conclusion to this horrible chapter of their lives. We need help to get funds to return them to Pat, Benjamin, and Edward.
We are looking to raise $3,800 for all travel costs. Any and all assistance is helpful and lovingly appreciated.
