Reunite Alex with his Daddy
Donation protected
Last time Alex saw his Daddy In person he was three. He will be 6 in December.
Alex and his Daddy had an incredible bond. They were inseparable.
Alex is just like his dad in so many ways: intelligent , cheeky and handsome. He’s also autistic, which for him means he need a lot of help to cope with day-to-day things that others might find easy. He can become really overwhelmed and lash out at those closest to him. We love Alex so much, and want to give him the best possible chance to grow up happy, healthy in an accepting and inclusive environment.
We were living together as a family in China when I came home to the UK to help our son have the best possible future. We had to leave Chuck behind so I could come home and get a job paying above £18,600 a year, so I'd be able to sponsor his visa. But 2 years later – because of the Home Office’s income requirement – I still haven’t kissed my husband and our son hasn’t hugged his Dad.
We are now receiving DLA (Disability Living Allowance) which exempts us from meeting an income requirement. However one last hurdle remains. £2700. The cost of Spouse Visa to the UK. I work as a TA for children with Special Educational Needs and due to Alex's needs I cannot work more hours. Alex asks every day when his Daddy will get his special ticket to come here. He even offered to sell his toys to help with costs. He is a lovely little boy who like all little boys just wants his Daddy with him. Please help reunite our family.
