To purchase a house, stables, and property in Falmouth, NS to be the home of "Returning Warriors Ranch" - a non-profit program that serves individuals with PTSD and those at risk for suicide to recover, integrate back into their community, eliminate feelings of isolation, reconnect with their loved ones, and find their "tribe."
Initially, services will be offered to those who have served the community: veterans, first responders, dispatchers, correctional officers, social workers, border service agents, coast guard members, search and rescue members, sheriffs, and healthcare professionals. Long-term goals include welcoming civilians who are experiencing PTSD and suicidal thoughts to participate in the program. This includes survivors of trauma and physical, mental, emotional, and sexual abuse.
One Week Can Change Everything
This program is comprised of an evidence-based, peer-to-peer support model that has saved thousands of people struggling with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. Resting on the ideals of compassion, empathy, and humility, this program serves as a safe space to share stories, reduce pain, and increase resiliency. For those struggling with suicidal thoughts, it is imperative to look at every piece of the puzzle that has lead to trauma.
This program is 6 days long, but the support from peers, alumni, and staff is ongoing long after participants graduate. This program is not meant to "cure" PTSD, rather shift the mindset of how to cope moving forward, integrate back into the community, reconnect with family and friends, and put smiles back on faces.

This passion project was born from Mark Long, Owner & Founder of Cracked Armour. Our ultimate goal: to raise $4 Million to purchase the property and launch our non-profit program. We are initially raising $500,000 for our first round of fundraising. Along with asking the public for assistance through this page, we are raising money through:
> Cracked Armour clothing sales
> Public Fundraisers
> Corporate Sponsors
> Grants (Clubs/Association & Government)
> Loans & Investors
Funding will cover overheads including mortgage, property maintenance, marketing, administrative and office expenses, staff payroll, and covering costs for participation in this program. We have submitted our application for non-profit status and are waiting for the paperwork to be processed.
We would like to thank our friends at the Trailer Park Boys for all of their support for this project, and we'd like to thank YOU in advance for helping our warriors with PTSD find joy in life again.
