Returning Ben to his "right mind."

Because Ben will going to a center in Florida we will not have airfare so I'm lowering goal from 36,00 to 33,00!

My name is Skip Struebing. My three son's are pictured as "The Three Amigos", Ed, Ben and Steve.

I am appealing for support for my youngest son, Benjamin. Ben graduated from Harding University with honors in double majors (History and Education). He spent two years serving in Teach for America, teaching 5th and 6th grade in Arkansas. Ben finished 2nd in 'Teacher of the Year.'

Ben then went to Nashville to prepare for a master's degree on a Dean's scholarship at Vanderbilt. He was invited to work at Merrill Lynch, where he scored one of the highest scores in the Nashville office. It was then, in 2013, when Ben began to manifest bipolar symptoms.

In 2022, Ben went to live with his brother, Steve, and family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He eventually got off meds and lived a normal life. He had a good job and so enjoyed being Uncle Ben.

On May 17, 2024, his oldest brother, Ed, died suddenly from an undiagnosed heart condition. It was then when Ben began to manifest bipolar behavior. For the first time, he has agreed to enter a program at Honey Lake Recovery Center in Greenville, Florida. They are a highly rated recovery center, specializing in mental health and self-medicating behavior. This is a God-given opportunity for Ben to be healed.
