Return to Ghana in 2019

In 2016, I made my first trip to the nation of Ghana. Over the course of 8 days I fell in love with the people, the culture, even the food, and most of all the churches. Since the wheels of our aircraft lifted off of African soil I have dreamed daily about going back. I have prayed earnestly for God to open a door for me to return, and to bring others with me. In 2019, that dream will become a reality, not once but twice.

In March of 2019, I will be leading a team from my church West Metro to Ghana for an 8 day trip. We will be serving at the Pearl House and with churches in Winneba and the surrounding areas. Then in August/September I will return to Ghana with my 3 brothers who I traveled with in 2016. Plans for this trip are still being formulated, and I will post details here as they become available.

My first trip was all about learning. How can we help to build the Kingdom in Ghana? How can we assist the pastors and churches in Ghana? In 2019, I plan to meet intentionally with several Ghanian pastors to learn more and to begin to develop a plan to provide ongoing support to Ghanian churches that provides sound theological training and encouragement.
