<div><strong>Gemüsefreund*innen, Eure Mithilfe ist gefragt: Hitzestress und Regenmangel machen unserem Gemüse das Leben schwer. Eine Verschlammung unseres alten Brunnens wird ein immer höheres Risiko, weshalb wir einen neuen, gemeinschaftsfinanzierten Brunnen bauen wollen. <div>Wir sind eine solidarische Landwirtschaft bei Bernau. Auf unserem <a href="https://www.spoergelhof.de/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Spörgelhof</a> bauen wir seit 2014 ressourcenschonend, ökologisch und gemeinschaftlich Gemüse in über 50 Kulturen an. Unsere Ernte verteilen wir einmal wöchentlich an acht Abholstationen in Bernau und Berlin an unsere Mitglieder. Wir sind seit 2021 eine Genossenschaft und freuen uns über eine verbundene, wachsende Gemeinschaft, die mit ihrem Gemüseabo für eine nachhaltige Ernährung einsteht.

<div>Zu unserem zehnjährigen Bestehen wollen wir ein Hindernis aus dem Weg räumen und unser Gemüse auch in den nächsten Jahren sicher mit Wasser versorgt wissen. In Brandenburg sinkt seit Jahren der Grundwasserspiegel und unser Standort gehört zu den trockensten Gebieten in ganz Deutschland. Aufgrund steigender Temperaturen verdunstet auch das Regenwasser immer schneller. Die Sommermonate Juli und August 2023 waren die heißesten seit Beginn der Wetteraufzeichnung, in Zukunft wird es immer mehr Extremwetterereignisse geben.

<div>Als solidarische Landwirtschaft leisten wir einen entscheidenden Beitrag, um dem sinkenden Wasserspiegel Einhalt zu gebieten: Durch unsere regenerative Art zu ackern, bauen wir jedes Jahr mehr Humus auf, wie unsere Bodenanalysen zeigen - und Humus ist entscheidend für die Fähigkeit des Bodens, Wasser aufzunehmen. Wir sorgen dafür, dass abgestorbene Pflanzenteile von Bodenlebewesen (danke Regenwurm!) in nährstoffreiche Erde umgewandelt wird, weil wir den Boden so wenig und so flach wie möglich bearbeiten. Auch Sträucher und Bäume pflanzen wir für langfristigen Schatten auf dem Feld. Statt Brandenburger Sandacker und Monokulturen heißt es bei uns: Lebendiger Boden jetzt und in Zukunft!

<div>Trotz unserer Bemühungen sind wir unweigerlich mit den fehlenden Niederschlägen konfrontiert. Jeden Sommer bangen wir wieder, ob unser alter Brunnen das nötige Nass hergeben wird, um unsere Ernte zu garantieren. Der Brunnen kann aufgrund des sinkenden Grundwasserspiegels jederzeit verschlammen. Ein neuer, modernerer und entsprechend effizienterer Brunnen soll unser Projekt langfristig sichern. Wir bitten Euch daher um Eure Mithilfe! Denn wir wollen weitermachen und zeigen, was solidarische Landwirtschaft gegen den Klimawandel leisten kann.

<div>Unsere Genossenschaft heißt nicht umsonst: <em>Gemeinschaft</em> Spörgelhof. Mit über 200 Genoss*innen sind wir eine engagierte und verbundene Gruppe aus ganz unterschiedlichen Menschen und Kontexten. Uns verbindet die gemeinsame Arbeit auf dem Hof bei den monatlichen Mitmachtagen, die selbstorganisierten Küfas, Soli-Parties, Sommerfeste, Film-Screenings, Klimastreiks und und und. Das Projekt Spörgelhof wird davon getragen, dass wir uns einbringen - was uns nicht schwerfällt! Denn wir sehen täglich auf unserem Teller, mit wie viel Hingabe das Gemüse von unseren Gärtner*innen Diego, Marlene und Julia produziert wird.

<div>    - The <strong>groundwater level in Brandenburg has been falling for years</strong>.
</div>
<div>    - Rainwater is evaporating faster due to rising temperatures.

<div>    - Extreme weather events are becoming more frequent: the summer months of July and August 2023 were the hottest since weather records began.

<div>    - Because the Spörgelhof is located in one of the driest areas in Germany.

<div>    - The falling groundwater level threatens to silt up the old well.

<div>    - The Spörgelhof therefore needs €12,000 to finance a new well by 1.7.2024.

<div>The Spörgelhof is a cooperative farm near Bernau with over 200 cooperative members. Since 2014, the gardeners at the farm have been growing vegetables in a resource-conserving, organic and communal way - with great dedication and in over 50 crops. Once a week, all members receive their harvest shares at eight pick-up stations in Bernau and Berlin.
