<div>Desde hace casi tres años, Sandra enfrenta una batalla silenciosa contra un tumor retroperitoneal. Este tumor creció sin ser detectado durante mucho tiempo, hasta alcanzar un tamaño tan grande como la cabeza de un bebé.

<div>Hoy, ese tumor presiona órganos vitales y le provoca dolores constantes, imposibles de ignorar, que incluso le impiden dormir.

<div>A pesar de sus ganas de seguir adelante y de su fortaleza, Sandra decidió postergar su operación durante algún tiempo, porque su sueño era volver a estar cerca de sus hijos, a quienes no ha visto desde hace algunos años.

<div>Hoy la situación ya no puede esperar más: los médicos han confirmado que la cirugía es urgente y de alto riesgo. El tumor podría estar adherido a músculos, nervios, arteria, riñón e intestinos, lo que hace necesaria una intervención compleja, con especialistas altamente capacitados y un hospital que cuente con todos los recursos para atender cualquier complicación.

<div>Sandra no cuenta con seguridad social ni con un seguro de gastos médicos que cubra una cirugía tan delicada. Por eso, familiares y amigos hemos decidido unirnos para recaudar los fondos que permitan realizar esta operación lo antes posible.
