Scoutmaster Retiremt thank you trip

ROOTY TOOT TOOT, HEAR US ROAR, WE ARE THE SCOUTS OF 124!!:
Those that know Ken Mattson and have been in 124, be it a scout or scout parent, knows this troop yell. Ken has been the Scoutmaster of Troop 124 chartered out of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton since 1974. His retirement ceremony is taking place Saturday, August 13.  So many lives he's mentored! Ken's been such an inspiration for so many who join as boys and age out as confident, and 'ready for life', men. So far, 160 Eagle Scouts!  Just how many total scouts any rank while in 124 in is unknown, but Ken's humble service to the Scouting movement and dedication to the program is unparalleled, and is worthy of sending him off with a retirement gift that isn't 'stuff'....but one he and Elaine would really enjoy, and be a lasting memory to give back and show our appreciation for all he has contributed.

THIS IS A GIFT TO FUNDRAISE FOR:
Airline Tickets!! Please consider contributing toward airline tickets for Ken and Elaine.  If the goal is exceeded, it would be able to spill over toward Airbnb gift cards for their lodging of their choice at their chosen destination, be it  Australia, Norway, Denmark, Kathmandu or Timbuktu---who knows where they will trek off to!
 
DEADLINE:
As long as donations are completed by end of day August 11th, so we can scramble and assemble the gift in the form of a card in time for the event August 13th.
