Passed away Vet, Need help with funeral cost

Donation protected

First I want to introduce you to my Papi Jerry. He is 75 years old. Joined the Army in 1966 and 25 years later he retired. My name is Michelle and I married his grandaon Charlie 10 years ago. Back in August 2019 my husband and I moved h and his wife from Arkansas to help care for them as he was fighting a long battle with health issues and his wife of 42 years is blind and has her health issues as well. I packed them up and moved them in our house and have taken care of them since. Back in June this year 6 months ago he was diagnosed with blood cancer. He has fought his battle and now taking his journey home. This has come to early and right before the holidays, and we are at the end of rope because everything we thought we had we found out we don't have for his funeral. We are on a waiting game for military paperwork. That's months down the road. We need any help possible for this man to rest peacefully and to have him back home where he can rest and be comfortable and finally at ease. I thank everyone who took the time to read this. And thank you even if you don't help. This time of year is hard especially with Covid. Anything helps. God bless you all!

I want to clarify some things as i posted this and didnt realize my brain was going faster then my typing. My granddad is now currently in the Life Care hospice center. He was at home and doing well til thursday when he took a turn and had to make the decision to have him transported to the care center. He was given 4 days and he is doing ok but is given "anytime" as day goes on. His home is Arkansas. He wants to be buried next to his family. They have a plot in arkansas and My husband and I are the only family he and his wife have here in NC. Grandmother is legally blind and 72 years old. I picked up went out and packed their belonging august2019 to move them in with us and 4 kids to make sure they had the doctors and help they both needed. I have been by their side since then. Its been a long journey and i would do it again if i could. He deserves to get home and be with family in the final resting place he wants. Thank you

(Update) - The day I made this Hoping I had time to get funeral stuff arranged and still trying to get the money up for his funeral.  He decided it was time to let go at 7:28p.m.  He went peacefully.
