Help Save Retired San Diego Trolley

We are the San Diego Electric Railway Association, dedicated to the preservation of San Diego rail history. We operate the historic National City Depot and maintain SDERy Car 54.
San Diego MTS is donating one of the first of the U2 red trolleys that are a signature part of the San Diego region but we need to fund the transportation and placement of that car on our property in National City. So many of these classics have met the scrapper and a select few have gone off to Mendoza, Argentina.
Help us preserve car 1002 so it can remain in the San Diego region! San Diego was the first of the light rail systems in the US and went into service 1981.
The funds from this campaign will help us fund the transportation of car 1002 and will help us make it into a quality educational exhibit.
