Restoring my Grandparent's Home

Donation protected
Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico this September, leaving the island with no electricity as well as barely any water.
My family is lucky to be alive. I had to wait 10 days before I even heard from my family confirming that they were okay.
My grandparents suffered the most of out everybody. My father described me to the scene of their home. They lost their roof as well as suffered some damage to their walls. The night the hurricane hit, my grandparents hid in the bathroom while they watched the strong winds and rain tear their roof off and rain down on them for the rest of the night. Once it was safe, my grandparents fled into a neighbors home to take cover.

I asked my dad to give me an estimate as to how much it would be to fix their home and he said somewhere around $1,500 to $2,000 because they need to clean up the house and access the rest of the damage. All we need is money for the supplies, we have people who are willing to help build it.
My grandparents are still currently living inside this home, with barely any food or water and no electricity. My grandpa put some wood over their bedroom in order to make their bedroom livable so they can sleep the night inside of their home because they have nowhere else to go.
I'm their granddaughter who is living in Texas and it's unbearable for me to not be able to be physically there and help them.
Any amount you can donate helps us!! Thank you!

Sincerely,
Stephanie Muniz
