Restoring Humanity - Ardent Care Assisted Living

Hello, my name is Solomon Cheung. I am 17-years old and I am starting a GoFundMe for my grandma who was diagnosed with dementia in 2018. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to live on her own anymore, so we had no choice but to place her into Ardent Care Assisted Living Memory Care. My family visits her regularly, bringing her out on walks and eating dinner with her. Sometimes she forgets who I am and sometimes she knows exactly who I am. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was unable to visit at risk of spreading the virus. Also as a result of the virus, places like Ardent Care need more resources such as masks, gloves, sanitizer, face shields, and reusable isolation gowns, etc... in order to maintain their facilities. Your donations are going to help the center purchase these essential goods for the most vulnerable group impacted by COVID-19 as well as appreciation gifts for the caretakers' dedication. By raising funds, I hope to give back to Ardent Care for all of their hard work during these times, so that they are able to provide essentials for all the employees as well as residents like my grandma.
