Hi, I am Peter, I am 45 and have a young family - my daughter Sienna is 8 years old, my son Caylem is 5 years old and my wife of 11 years Teressa. I have Multiple Sclerosis and it is has been taking over my life.
For those who don't know me, I have M.S. and last year it was taking my life - I was unable to walk unaided, could hardly talk and was having difficulty swallowing. Through the Go Fund Me page I was able to raise enough funds to go overseas and start the treatment that I desparately needed to help return my life and health. The initial part of the treatment worked and I was able to stop using the walking stick (My son Caylem loved that). I also can talk better now without slurring my words. I have taken my kids fishing a few times, and my son is a natural at catching fish. These are just little things but the ability to walk and talk impacts so much of our lives.
Now I need to go back overseas to do the final part of the treatment and keep the progress going. This is where I am seeking help to make this happen. Even though many of my symptoms have gotten better, I am not out of the woods yet and fully healed. The next part of the treamtent will cement that.
The advanced medical treatment from overseas is needed to help repair the nerve damage that is still affecting my life. This treatment is only available abroad and the first part of the treatment has been worked for me. This treatment has also been shown to be extremely successful in other MS sufferers.
I need to finish off the treatment so that I can fully participate in my children's lives and watch them grow up. From the results that I have had so far I know that this treatment will help get me back to health and I look forward to that day. Please help me raise the funds to finish what I have started and to achieve my dream of fully participating in my childrens lives.
